COMMITMENTS

In the next four years, this is what we will accomplish together:
  • Regain accreditation by achieving at least 9 of the 14 state benchmarks -- with growth in at least two achievement areas
  • Initiate and/or begin redevelopment on most of our vacant schools
  • Responsibly implement community schools that enjoy strong community support
  • Develop a collection of strong high school academies -- each one providing a college preparation curriculum
  • Witness all viable candidates for municipal office embracing the issue of public education
  • Encourage our strongest corporate citizens to become sponsors for specific schools
  • Earn a reputation as a credible and reliable community partner
